On the first Monday of the month, the Hawley puts on intimate gigs in its upstairs bar. Last night, lots of people came in from the snow, to watch Sam McCarthy play a set, including his upcoming brilliant first single, Cherry Tree. He was followed by the great Rob Skipper and the Musical Differences, before the suberb surprise of the night, Luke and Hugh from The Kooks, stepped up to play some new songs and some old favourites and proved themselves to be the perfect end to a fantastic night of music at the Hawley. If you want to find out about future gigs, sign up to our Hawley friends newsletter.
